In order to insure many years of use out of your Green High Performance Air Filter, it needs to be cleaned every 4,000 to 6,000 miles or every 6 months. To clean your Green High Performance Air Filter, follow the steps below:
Tap the filter or blow with air to remove excess dirt.
Spray the filter with Green Filter Cleaner and allow the solution to soak in for about 15 minutes.
*Never use strong detergents, high pressure water, or gasoline.
Rinse the filter with warm water, clean side to dirty side to flush out the dirt.
Allow the filter to dry naturally. Try to avoid heat because it might shrink the cotton.
Re-oil the filter using Green Filter Oil by using 1 spray per 2 square inches of filter. Take care to not over-oil your filter.
*Never use motor oil, transmission fluid, WD-40, or any other brand of filter oil as these may damage your Green Filter. Use only genuine Green Filter Oil.
It works as described no issues
sounds great in my 2013 ford focus se and they delivered fast
Ordered what i needed, good price and fast delivery. What more can you ask for/
I havnt used it but product looks excellent and I'm sure I should have no problems. The customer service here is outstanding so I'm not worried about using this down the line.
I don't know what the issue is but I purchased this kit as a replacement filter for my cool Flo Kit for the Focus RS. The kit normally includes a solid mounting plate with a 3" inlet. The initial install at 6000 miles was flawless and the car made the pronounced intake "pssh" noise. Now with the replacement filter the car is making an awful noise akin to a loud whistle. I have since moved to a different design as this particular configuration will not accept anything outside of the 3" inlet.
