Check engine light came on
Hi Eddie, you may have a vacuum leak or the MAF sensor is not connected properly. Please call us for assistance on this and have the check engine light code available if you have it. Thank you

Love it. Fit perfectly and it sounds a little like a turbo. My gas pedal is noticeably more responsive.

So far it has been pretty amazing! It definitely gives you way more power in the low RPM, seems like the car should have felt this way the whole time! One this is it leaks air quite frequenlty, it needs a small clamp for the top sensor connection on the intake as you just shove the censor inside the tube with nothing to tighten it down. Not a huge issue, would definitely reccomend! 2005 Ford Focus zx4 ST

Removing the old intake (2004 Focus Sedan 2.3L) was a matter of unbolting the various airboxes, tubes, covers, and snorkels. PZEV systems get crazy really fast. It took maybe thirty minutes. Installing this system is as easy as slipping the short silicone sections over the ends, securing them with band clamps, then sticking it on the throttle body and clamping it down. There is 1 bolt to be fastened, and a little mount is included as the new system is a slightly different shape at that location. Little tip: when you have the MAF sensor out of the old system, give it a spray of some MAF cleaner as preventative maintenance. The engine became considerably more growly with this system, throttle response piped up significantly, and you can hear a faint whoosh when you stomp the pedal. Torque below 2k RPM has also improved significantly, though some of that may be due to the "lifetime" filter never having been replaced in 207k miles. Worth all the money and then some. Get the "pre-filter" cover for it too, it'll make filter cleanings easier and less frequent and it's pretty cheap.
