Cobb Lower Rear Engine Mount - Ford Focus 2012-2018SKU: 891001
Improve traction and reduce wheel hop!
Stock engine mounts are designed to diminish engine noise and vibration but often compromise performance because they allow wheel hop and engine movement. The COBB rear engine mount incorporates a unique bushing design engineered to improve traction without harshness.
The COBB lower rear engine mount is the best way to minimize engine movement, improve traction, and reduce wheel hop without major impact to NVH. Typical bushing designs can rattle your teeth out at idle or during throttle input. The COBB RMM utilizes unique "voids" custom molded into the 85A durometer bushing to absorb vibrations, but still reduce engine movement to aid getting all the power to the ground. The beautifully machined 6061 billet aluminum mount with zinc hardware will make you sad you have to hide it under your car, but you will be grinning at every stop light!

I haven't had time to install it yet, but from what I've heard it's going to be awesome.
A well-crafted piece of hardware.
These things are much bigger in person which makes more sense with the price. This mount is definitely firm so the car does vibrate but feeling the car is what it's all about. I've been using this for about a month.
Another Great Product From Cobb!
First of all, big thank you to Raffi for getting this thing installed for me same day when I picked it up on will call, you guys rock! His mechanic did a stellar job installing the RMM and it only took about an hour. As for the part itself, when I first started up the car I was hit by a huge wave of buyer's remorse because my god was it stiff. But they told me give it 500 miles to break in and the comfort will come back. And sure enough, within a week or two it fully broke in and the car was back to normal. Now theres just a nice subtle rumble against my leg in the center console and a barely noticeable vibration in the steering wheel when the AC is on. The car feels 100% more solid, shifts are improved and more notchy and wheel hop is gone, like completely. Highly Recommend, a cheap and effective way to improve the way your car feels.
Awesome quality mount
This is a 10/10 mount. The quality of the machine work is obvious. Install was a breeze (with the right tools - Cobb has a great installation video on their website). You can instantly feel the rigidity of the mount once you're back in the car. The vibration was barely noticeable for me - nothing that would prevent me from going to a softer mount. Night and day difference after the install - the torque goes straight to the ground and the wheel hop is 100% eliminated. Highly recommend! Thanks again FSWERKS!
The quality of the RMM is great. Solid build that puts a lot of confidence in the part working like it should. I have to say I did the MP275 package, short throw shifter and cosmetic MODS like wing riser and weather tech mats before installing the Cobb RMM and when I installed it this past week it is a huge night and day experience. I should of done this first. Yes you will feel vibration in the steering wheel and in the pedal but nothing you won't forget about. The pros definitely out weight the cons here. Now I did install this with a lower strut brace and did not test drive the 2 mods separately to get a feel if they are complimenting each other our not. BOTTOM LINE... would I recommend the Cobb RMM. Yes !
