The COBB Focus ST Intake incorporates the great OEM airbox design and makes it even better! We improved upon the factory airbox ram air ducting by including an oiled dual cone filter to increase airflow and to hear that great turbo sound. The constrained piping to the turbo is replaced with 3" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing to maximize airflow and uses custom silicone couplers to fasten everything together. This is the next-generation Focus ST Intake which features OEM-like fitment across all model years and an updated wrinkle black powdercoat finish. The COBB Focus ST Intake is the perfect first step towards Stage 2 power levels when paired with the COBB FMIC! Fitment verified for left-hand drive vehicles only.

    Cobb Cold Air Intake......WOOSH!!!!!!

Picked up this and a cobb rmm from Raffi at FSWerks. Thanks for the great service and great pricing! Install was a bit tricky, removing the wipers and making sure to put them back properly took some trial and error....and some wiper blades flying off the sides of my windshield a couple times lol. The most nerve racking part of the install was getting the couplers seated properly and getting the bracket that comes off the main tube to line up with the hole on the engine. DO NOT USE THE SCREW COBB GIVES YOU. I tried to torque that screw down and it partially stripped out the hole on my engine and I nearly had a heart attack. Luckily the stock bolt still grabbed the threads hard enough to torque down, just reused the factory spacer from the stock intake tube. Unless that bracket is positioned 100% perfectly over the hole, dont put any torquing force on it, I learned the hard way how soft the aluminum our engines are made out of is! I got lucky, dont make my mistake! Performance is noticeably improved with this intake! My oil temps which used to point straight up the needle in the middle of my dial at operating temp are now just a bit to the left, just slightly colder. The car pulls slightly harder and the sounds! That long spool up whistle and then the PSSSSSHHH from the recirculation valve. If you gentle rev the engine just above idle you also get some nice turbo flutters. Absolutely love this part and love that it is CARB approved! I heard COBB is working on a CARB legal DP, soon as it comes out, you bet I'll be back for it!
