Exedy OE Quality Clutch Kit with Lightweight Solid Flywheel

Clutch engagement and pedal feel is nearly identical to the original factory clutch kit but offers a little more feedback allowing for even more control and confidence in all driving conditions.

We recommend this clutch kit for vehicles ranging from completely stock to vehicles equipped with full bolt-ons such as intake, exhaust, headers, ecu tune, cams, etc. Through testing we have found it can handle more power & torque compared to the original factory clutch kit. Not recommended for turbo, supercharger or nitrous equipped vehicles.

Key benefits compared to the original factory clutch kit are reduced rotational weight in the form of a single mass light weight flywheel. Torque Specs:
Flywheel to crankshaft bolts require 83 ft-lbs
Pressure plate to flywheel bolts require 21 ft-lbs

Great swap from duel mass flywheel

Every thing went smooth got every thing they recommended, slave cylinder little different from factory, but works great, you really notice how much lighter it is. Transmission slapped back in like a champ, so thanks and good luck if you buy it ,the work was well worth it.

Excellent OEM replacement, but make sure you understand the conversion

I installed this clutch kit about 6 months ago and it's been excellent. After installing it I took the car for a road trip from Illinois to the Colorado Rockies, and it performed excellently. I have a 2006 2.0L Duratec, and it comes OEM with a dual mass flywheel; this kit is designed to remove the dual mass flywheel and replaces it with a solid flywheel. This is something that both Exedy and FSwerks fails to explain in the description of the kit. So don't be alarmed when you take out your old pressure plate and flywheel and they look nothing like what you're about to bolt to your transmission, because this kit fits just fine. This clutch grips with a little more aggression than OEM, but I enjoy it much more than the old clutch.
