Locate your ECU Module Number

How to find your ECU number prior to ordering a flasher:

If your require assistance locating your ECU # call or email FSWERKS.

Unfortunately if you are unable to find the ECU number in the given locations due to the sticker falling off due to age, we would not be able to sell a flasher to you without this information.

Ford Focus Duratec 2008-2011:

Method 1. Open your engine hood, and locate ECU number on the ECU which is mounted right in front of the car battery. Please note, the sticker may be on either side of the unit.

Ford Focus Duratec 2003-2007:

Method 1. Open passenger door, and locate ECU number in the door jam near the hinge.

Method 2. Remove key from ignition. Open glovebox and empty contents. Squeeze in the back of each side of the back of the glovebox past the stoppers. Fold down glovebox, and locate the control module behind the glovebox. The ECU must be removed to view the ECU number located on top of the unit.

Ford Focus 2000-2007 Zetec/SPI/SVT:

Method 1. Open passenger door, and locate ECU number in the door jam near the hinge.

Method 2. Open glovebox and empty contents. Squeeze in the back of each side of the back of the glovebox past the stoppers. Fold down glovebox, and locate the control module behind the glovebox. On it you will see the ECU number.
