VW GTI Racecar & Trailer Stolen - Can You Help?

Posted by Steve Ross on

Thieving scum doesn't adequately describe how we feel about somebody that would break into a workshop to steal a shop's racecar and the trailer it was sat in.

At 3.10am this morning, thieves broke into the locked gates of Euro Sport Accessories in Anaheim, CA 92807. They stole a silver trailer that has Euro Sport Accessories stickers and Focus Sport stickers on the outside.

We're not sure if they were after the trailer or the racecar inside, because they also got the company's 1975 yellow VW Rabbit with a 1.8 20V engine swap.

The driver of a dark colored 1992-1999 Chevrolet Suburban stole the car and trailer. You can see video of the Chevy removing the trailer in surveillance video, as well as more photos of the car and trailer in this link at VWVORTEX

Brothers Raffi and Vik, who own Euro Sport Accessories, built the car and run it at track days. They would really appreciate your help locating the VW and its trailer. They run a small shop that uses the trailer on a regular basis for events and can't afford to be without it. As diehard enthusiasts and pillars of our VW/Audi community, please help the guys and put the thieving scum behind bars.
